The ritual will focus on the Earth Mother and the nature of Untamed-ness in a Druidic style. This service is family-friendly and accessible. As with all Druidic rites, there will be no circle cast, and you may feel free to come and go as you need. There will be a time for the folk to make their own offerings, so please bring any items you wish to offer to the Deities, Ancestors, and Allies in the Natural World. Offering materials will be available for those who need them. Finally, bring your own chair if you need to sit during the service. Navigating the Virtue Buffet: One Priest’s Guidance for Living the Good Life with Rev. Wm. E. Ashton, ADF What is it that feeds our spirits? What sustains a healthy soul? When we feel within ourselves the onset of possibly making bad choices, or feeling unsure, or short-sightedness, or fearful, or wanting to give up, to what (or to whom) do we turn? When things seem darkest, what do we do? Join Rev. William Ashton, ADF as he shares one of the most-valuable products of his 15 years of pagan philosophy/theology study and community, congregation-based ministry: why an engaged virtue practice makes better people. Through his easy presentation style (he’s from New Orleans), these spirit-wrestling exercises and tough contemplations become accessible to all pagan folks, regardless of tradition or denomination. ALL folk are welcome and encouraged to attend! This class will be focusing on the HOW we, as pagan folk, live our lives in excellence, as well as why living virtuously is important. Finally, we’ll discuss some tips, tricks, and exercises we can do to maximize each moment of feeding our souls the most nutrition-dense experiences possible.

Music for Ritual and Magic Workshop ~ ~ ~ Join Rev. Missy Ashton - Interactive workshop involving the placement and use of sound and music in ritual and magical workings. -Sound is a well-documented tool for inducing trance and raising energy, but too few pagans know how to use it to its fullest potential. In this workshop, we will begin by discussing the brain mechanics behind why it works to help us better understand this important tool. Once we have covered the whys, we will discuss the hows, including incorporating music into both public and private practice, appropriate song choice, and exercises using other vocalization techniques for magical workings such as the “Druid’s Hum,” intoning the Awen, and solitary and group toning. Please bring along an object to be charged, if desired and any healing requests you may have.
