The Groove Workshop

RISE ~ Feeling the energy of Our Bodies
– @ HSC (kids at Untamed) Join us for a morning that will help prepare us for a day of adventure. We will start with a grounding exercise and body scan to help us learn how to notice feelings in our bodies. If time permits we will then practice movement strategies to help us process and move through feelings.

– @ the Sunflower Stage Want to be onstage as part of Alane’s performance on Saturday? You can! Come to this workshop and learn the music to three of her songs. Singers, instrumentalists and drummers welcome. Handouts with lyrics and chords will be provided. Alane will teach the singers the melody and simple harmony parts, and we’ll work out instrumental arrangements. Then on Saturday at 3:00, you’ll be part of her show. Want to be onstage as part of Alane’s performance on Saturday? You can! Come to this workshop and learn the music to three of her songs. Singers, instrumentalists and drummers welcome. Handouts with lyrics and chords will be provided. Alane will teach the singers the melody and simple harmony parts, and we’ll work out instrumental arrangements.
