Thursday ~ Opening Day

  • Gates Open

    We begin welcoming all to the festival! Cash tickets are available at the gate.

  • Getting camp set up

    @ your camp space

    Take time to set up your camp and get all that you need for the weekend ready!

  • Sign up for Volunteer shifts

    @ the Cauldon

    Get your weekend started by signing up for fun and connecting volunteer shifts. This is a great way to meet others and participate in the community! You can come by any time to find something perfect for you.

  • CREATE ~ Wheel of the Year Workshop

    @ HSC (kids at untamed)

    Kids will come together to begin a festival long project creating a wheel of the year that will return to the HSC space every year at the festival! This project will be available for the kids to add to until close of HSC Saturday Night. Please wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen/bug spray and bring a water bottle. Join us at the HSC Canopy.

  • Pagans in Recovery Planned Fellowship

    @ Pagans in Recovery Space

    PIR is a fellowship of individuals who are seeking spiritual growth.  Pagans who desire healthy relationships with things such as drugs, alcohol, food, people, money, or technology; the 6 most common ‘addictions’ for modern humans. Come join PIR to connect, share and heal.

  • Pennyroyal Sessions

    In booths @ Pennyroyal Lane

    Join our Vendors in their booths to learn about their skills, services and so much more. Each vendor will have a unique workshop to share with visitors to their booths.

  • Diversity and Inclusion Talk in Conjunction with HSC

    Location TBA

    We will gather around the fire to discuss diversity and how we can be more inclusive in our worlds. Youth event, families welcome to join. Please wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen/bug spray and bring a water bottle. Clothing required for this event.

  • Pan Ritual

    @ the Hive

    Covenant of the River and a bundle of volunteers welcome you to Untamed! Help us honor the fluidity and strength in building a welcoming space for all expression of human. Join us in calling on Pan to shift our focus from the mundane to possible, to the magical and carnal.

  • Teen Circle (11-Up) ~ Teen Fire Pit

    @ HSC (kids at Untamed)

    The teens can gather around a fire pit to hang out with other teens. This area is intended to give teens a space and fire of their own. Smores will be provided! Please wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen/bug spray and bring a water bottle. Join us at the Teen Fire Pit.

  • Bottoms Out- Morning Yoga

    @ Bottoms Out

    A beginner’s level, clothing optional yoga workshop for 30 minutes in Bottoms Out. Start the day connecting to your own body, and nature with a little yoga. Bring a yoga mat, pad, towel, or blanket as a ground cover.

  • The Groove Workshop

    @ Sunflower Stage

    Groove has been described as the most creative dance class in the world. We dance to all kinds of music and for each one we will learn 2 or 3 movements and practice them in ecstatic dance.

  • Beyond Birds and Bees

    @ Kaleidoscope

    Would you like to know what Biology says about sex and gender? Here’s a hint: in life sciences, there are NO hard lines! For any age, come talk about how nature designed us all on a spectrum, and how that impacts our ideas of inclusivity and identity. Learn some great comebacks when you hear the dreaded “It’s basic biology!” There is a place for all of us on Earth, and it’s never just one box!

  • LGBTQIA+ Soup Social

    @ Kaleidoscope

    No matter where you land in the acronym, come share lunch and a conversation with your fellow LGBTQIA+ community. Please feel free to bring your lunch, a chair, and a listening ear, as we share our stories and lives over the lunch hour. Commemorative gifts will be handed out while supplies last.

  • Drumming for Ritual

    @ Sunflower Stage

    Drumming for Ritual is different than drumming for a drum circle. Attention needs to be directed in ways that require focus, while still bringing the energy of the drumming into the space of the ritual.  This workshop, led by Pat, will draw on our collective experiences to bring to light the aspects of Drumming for Ritual potent.  

  • Bead and Meet

    @ HSC (kids at Untamed)

    The kids version of Mead and Meet, we are gonna create with beads! Parents are free to drop off their kiddos for some fun while they attend the Mead and Meet at Kaleidoscope! Please wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen/bug spray and bring a water bottle. Join us at the HSC Canopy.

  • Mead and Meet (21 and over):

    @ Kaleidoscope

    A chance to meet your fellow festival goers in a meet and greet atmosphere. Mead will be provided. A fun relaxing atmosphere where the point is to meet someone you don’t know. Often asked to introduce yourself to at least 3-5 people you have never met. NO GLASS, please.

  • Alane Brown Chants Workshop

    @ the Sunflower Stage

    Want to be onstage as part of Alane’s performance on Saturday? You can! Come to this workshop and learn the music to three of her songs. Singers, instrumentalists and drummers welcome. Handouts with lyrics and chords will be provided. Alane will teach the singers the melody and simple harmony parts, and we’ll work out instrumental arrangements. Then on Saturday at 3:00, you’ll be part of her show. The songs you’ll learn are useful ones to incorporate in your own rituals back home, too.

  • Basics of Astrology

    @ Daffodil Workshop Area

    Tara, from Hallowed Stones Realm, will be teaching the basics of Astrology and how to understand your natal chart using what our ancestors had.

    Join us as we gather around the Snapdragon fire for a drumming session led by a community member! Please wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen/bug spray and bring a water bottle. Join us at the HSC Canopy and we will go to Snapdragon from there.

  • Late Night Drumming

  • RISE ~ Feeling the energy of Our Bodies

    @ HSC (kids at Untamed)

    Join us for a morning that will help prepare us for a day of adventure. We will start with a grounding exercise and body scan to help us learn how to notice feelings in our bodies. If time permits we will then practice movement strategies to help us process and move through feelings.

  • Celebrate YOU Parade

    Begins @ the highland games

    YOU are the main topic for this parade. In collaboration with HSC, we will be leading a Congo type of parade through the main Ritual area to celebrate every single one of us. You are encouraged to wear costumes, Ritual garb, face paint, bring flags, or any other accessories that help identify your true self. ALL ARE WELCOME and encouraged to attend!

  • Painted Stones Craft 

    @ the Snapdragon Gathering area

    Corner stones, Mandalas, Altar pieces, Garden decoration, Pocket amulet/protection, Runes or sigils, or just something pretty. Come paint stones or pebbles with us! All materials will be provided.

  • Music from Doug Warburton

    @ the Sunflower Stage

    Neither “Pagan” nor “Acoustic” mean Folk, and Doug’s music wanders into the boundaries of Rock and Blues, but Yes, Folk is in there too.

  • EXPLORE ~ Gods and Goddess Scavenger Hunt

    @ HSC (kids at Untamed)

    Come hear stories of Gods and Goddesses from many paths. Then search them out in the fields in front of HSC and they will give you a gift from the scavenger hunt! Please wear closed-toe shoes, sunscreen/bug spray and bring a water bottle. We will meet at the HSC Canopy and Explore from there.

  • Music from Makaysha Rain 

    @ the Sunflower Stage

    Makaysha is a conscious music artist passionate about making music that invites participants to chant along. Her Kirtan-fusion songs combine uplifting English lyrics with Sanskrit chanting and world music instruments.

  • Music & Chants from Alane Brown

    @ the Sunflower Stage

    Alane Brown is a singer-songwriter from Durango, Colorado. Like her award-winning short stories, her songs are often about the characters that come alive in her imagination.

    Today we mix together the many soils of the earth, from places afar like Ireland, Greece, South America, India, from across the United States as well as the sacred soils of our own backyards here in Colorado. We come together to honor the elemental powers, which together bring fertility and life to these soils. And we come together to renew our commitment to good stewardship and the tending of our Sacred Earth Mother.

  • Closing Ritual

    Join us to close the festival in ritual. A great time to release the energy from the weekend.
