Untamed Vendor and Reader Guidelines and Contract
All participants and their employees, group members and volunteers agree to comply with the decisions made by the Promoters, Covenant of the River, or their agents as to the enforcement of the said list of information, rules and code of conduct. By signing this application (or submitting it electronically), you are agreeing to this disclaimer and verifying that you have read the information, rules, and codes of conduct. Upon acceptance by the promoter, this will become a contract. You must also bring a signed copy of the signature page front the vendor and readers contract, and your festival release forms (included in this document) with you to the festival and will hand them in upon arrival.
Your space will be secured once your contract and payment are received. Failure to complete the contract will result in forfeit of your space and any associated fees.

I accept:
- Untamed Fest is held at 8200 feet. It is important that you check with your health care provider before purchasing your ticket. The CDC warns: If you plan to travel to an elevation higher than 8,000 feet above sea level or higher, you may be at risk for altitude illness, which is caused by low oxygen levels in the air.
- People with pre-existing medical conditions should talk with a doctor before traveling to high elevation.
- People with heart or lung disease should talk to a doctor who is familiar with high-altitude medicine before their trip.
- People with diabetes need to be aware that their illness may be difficult to manage at high elevation.
- Pregnant women can make brief trips to high elevations but they should talk with their doctor because they may be advised not to sleep at elevations above 10,000 feet.
- People with some illnesses (e.g., sickle cell anemia, severe pulmonary hypertension) should not travel to high elevations under any circumstances.
- There will be NO internet or cell phone services on site.
- Once on site this is a cash only event.
- There are wild animals, dogs, and domesticated animals roaming on the property.
- There are no refunds for tickets. All sales are final.
- Rain, Shine, Canceling
- The event is being held outdoors, rain, or shine. Please be prepared in the event of extreme wind, rain or snow. In the event of wildfires.
- Once accepted, vending fees are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend the event, your non-refundable vendor fee can be considered a donation, for a receipt please contact the Vendor Coordinator.
- All cars will be required to park in designated parking lots.
- The Deadline for Vendor Registration is May 5th. Failure to complete your contract and/or provide payment will forfeit your booth regardless of any fees already paid.
- Each vendor is asked to present a workshop either in one of our main workshop areas or in their space, this is not required but strongly encouraged. Those who agree to complete a pre-approved workshop can receive a discount on their vendor booth. Failure to complete your agreed on workshop without approval will prohibit you from returning in the future.
- Vending locations will be assigned in advance, and, while preferences will be taken into consideration, no location guarantees can be made.
- For those joining our team on “Pennyroyal Lane”
- Each vending space includes a 10 x 10 foot vending space and a small area for you to set up your camp adjacent to your vending space.
- The booth fee is $130 and includes one guest pass to Untamed. A guest pass must be purchased for everyone in your party that intends to stay at Untamed. These can be full or 2 day passes.
- RV and Double Spaces are available for $250 and include two (2) adult passes.
- Food Vendors
- There is no water, electricity, refrigerator trucks, or hookups of any kind. This is rugged off grid camping. Food vendors must be able to make accommodations for this.
- Food vendors must provide appropriate licensing and be in compliance with the local health department (jefferson county).
- Food vendors have the option to come for the full festival or join us on Saturday morning for sales on Saturday and Sunday.
- Each vendor (merchant, energy workers, and food vendors) must hold their own sales tax license and is responsible for paying their sales tax.
- Vendors who do not have a CO Sales Tax ID can apply online at: https://www.colorado.gov/pacific/tax/sales-tax-account-license.
- Healthcare practitioners must provide proof of license in order to perform health services at the festival. This includes but is not limited to massage, and acupuncture.
- Nonpayment will result in loss of vending space. If you are not selected any fees will be refunded.
- Set-up / tear down and site rules
- All Spaces must be set up on Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. – Thursday at 9:00 a.m. You are responsible for bringing your own tables / chairs and coverings and any items necessary for you to vend.
- Please note that there is no electricity available.
- All tents must be weighted down. Those who do not have a safe tent/canopy will be asked to take it down. You can also use stakes to tie down your canopy. Be prepared for high winds,rain and possibly snow.
- Be sure your tie downs or weights do not impede walkways or other people’s vending space.
- Vendors must wait to begin breaking down their display until 5 p.m. on Sunday and be ready to leave their site no later than 12:00 p.m. Monday.
- There is to be no vending of: alcohol, tobacco, fireworks, weapons of any kind, marijuana, drug paraphernalia or related items.
- There is no smoking in the general areas and smoking of ANY kind can only be done in designated spaces and at your personal tent.
- Please provide at least one person who will be manning your booth at all times. Neither the Untamed, Covenant of the River, or the land owner are responsible for any loss or damage to your wares.
- This is a family-oriented event. No adult-themed items can be displayed or offered for sale.
- All participants will conduct themselves in a well-behaved and lawful manner at all times.
- Participants will be responsible for all members in their group.
- All vendors are responsible for the cleanup of their areas. Trash cans will be available. Please leave the space better than you found it. Failure to clean up properly can result in non-approval of future applications for this event and other events hosted by Covenant of the River. Failure to clean up after your booth will result in a $300 fee payable to Covenant of the River within 30 days of the event and a probationary period prohibiting vendors from the next year’s event.
- A responsible adult must accompany children under 13.
- Vendors must abide by all applicable city, state, and federal laws while on event property.
- Sale of food is strictly restricted by permit. Please do not bring food or snacks to sell without the written approval.
- Untamed or Covenant of the River will not be held responsible for any material loss, damage to equipment or merchandise, personal injury, or act of God(s).
- Denial of this application for whatever reason does not constitute non-acceptance of your goods and / or services because of quality, or prejudice towards you or your product and/or services. Decisions will be based solely on space limitations and / or limits on how many of the same products/services will be available at the event.
