Here we go folks! The outpouring of support from the larger pagan community has been amazing. Many thanks to every person gifting good juju to Untamed. Covenant of the River, and the spectacular team of volunteers are so very excited to share a new vision of a pagan festival. Untamed has the potential to lift and heal and affirm. Untamed will be a inter-generational, multi-faceted celebration of sharing space and knowledge. I firmly believe that we can build, and hold a space that supports the entire spectrum of modern paganism and allows for gifts to be shared among the folk. I look forward to building a festival that we can all be proud of.
Ticket sales are open, and we’ll handle all the bugs as they come up. Please continue to be patient with our volunteers and send us your constructive feedback.
Our ticket tiers are specifically designed to support families and encourage older teenagers to come by choice. Children ten years of age and younger are free because no parent should ever have to choose between the babes and having a supportive spiritual festival experience. Our folk are considered ‘adults’ at sixteen because at that age we need to encourage each other to be where we want to be and not just present because some head of household said so. Two day passes for adults and youth allow for folks to join in the activities for Saturday and Sunday if they can’t make it Friday.
This is just the beginning. Year ONE. Take a good cleansing breath and imagine a place set aside for you to let your proverbial hair down. Imagine a space where you and your family and your way of faith are all not just welcome but encouraged. Welcome to UNTAMED!
